These workshops are the perfect start to your adventure with an organic vegetable garden. During the meeting, you will learn the basics of natural vegetable cultivation in the garden, on the allotment and in raised beds. You will learn how to start a vegetable garden from scratch, prepare fertile soil without using artificial fertilizers, and how to plan crop rotation. We will talk about composting, natural fertilizers and home-made preparations to strengthen plants. Owl Night at Goyki - how do owls love?
How do owls love? Owls often love each other! This is the simplest answer to the title question. And since girls are bigger than their partners, temperamental and well-armed, love in the world of owls is not without risk. Jacek Karczewski from the Jest na pTAK! association, author of, among others, the best-selling "Night of the Owls. Tales from the Forest". After the presentation, we will go for a late-evening walk to the Goyki Park, where tawny owls live - but we cannot promise that any of them will talk or show themselves. But even if we don't manage to spot any of them in the treetops, it's still worth spending the evening with us and learning more about these mysterious birds. Dress warmly. Your own flashlights and binoculars are welcome. Note: minors are welcome with an adult guardian or guardian. Admission is free.

Cinema at Goyki 3
Riefenstahl
Veiel address
Germany | 2024 | 1 hour 55 minutes
Leni Riefenstahl was a cinematic genius in the service of Nazi propaganda. The controversial actress and later director remains the subject of fascination and debate about whether her talent can be separated from her political views. Riefenstahl was a famous dancer and actress of the 1920s. She attracted the attention of Adolf Hitler with the mountain film "Blue Light", which she directed, produced based on her own script and in which she starred. The propaganda "Triumph of the Will", about the Nazi Party rally in Nuremberg in 1934, made her the most outstanding director of the Third Reich. Thanks to the film "Olympics", about the Summer Olympics in Berlin in 1936, she gained worldwide fame. The story of Leni Riefenstahl's life and the impact she had on German culture and society is the key to understanding the mechanisms of manipulation that we are currently struggling with again. However, the film's analysis of its post-World War II legacy and popularity is more than just a cultural-historical exercise. Deciphering her work means revealing and understanding the essence of film propaganda, which is extremely important in the light of its contemporary revival. The film is an attempt to achieve what no film about Riefenstahl has achieved so far - presenting a psychological portrait of the artist. Thanks to it, what the director calls "the seductive nature of fascism" is revealed.
