Art workshops inspired by the book Balticarium at the State Art Gallery
On Sunday, February 15 at 11:00 we invite you to the colorful and imaginative world of the Baltic Sea. Under the supervision of illustrator Natalia Uryniuk, participants will create their own artistic interpretations of sea creatures.
The workshops open the door to the fascinating, often hidden fauna of our sea - from transparent jellyfish to intriguing deep-sea fish. These are classes that allow you not only to draw and paint, but above all, immerse yourself in the extraordinary stories that the Baltic Sea brings.
Natalia Uryniuk - graphic designer, illustrator, author of children's books. PhD student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Winner of the Award of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, scholarship holder of the Young Poland Program and Escola Superior Artística in Porto. She created the first international educational project about the Baltic Sea, which includes a portal translated into 9 languages. The Balticarium project received a distinction in the Social Campaign of the Year 2016 competition.
