Farewell to Winter at the Grodzisko in Sopot

It’s high time to say goodbye to winter. It was picturesque, but also challenging. The Grodzisko in Sopot is excited to open the season of outdoor events. On Saturday, March 21, in the Slavic settlement, you’ll be able to deal with the Marzanna effigy and welcome spring in a cheerful, family-friendly atmosphere.

The event starts at 1:00 PM and will last two hours. During this time, everyone can take part in creating a Marzanna together. The large effigy will be burned in a bonfire as the ceremonial finale of the event. For children, we have planned workshops where they can make smaller dolls: Lady Winter or Lady Spring – your choice. Additionally, there will be demonstrations in the Stone Age settlement, showcasing everyday life in prehistoric times. We also encourage you to relax by the bonfire. We will provide sticks for roasting sausages, but please bring your own food. It’s best to arrive on time, as from 2:30 PM the bonfire will be reserved exclusively for burning the Marzanna and symbolic Lady Winter effigies.
