The KURORT Film Discussion Club was established in Sopot in 2005 on the initiative of the Brake Safety Film Group (currently the Brake Safety Cultural Association) and members of the film section of the Society of Friends of Sopot. The founding members were, among others: Izabela Jakul, Anna Kądziela, Tomasz Garstkowiak, Magda Szkudlarek, Kuba Woźniak and Michał Grubman.

Thanks to cooperation with the Boto Theater and the City of Sopot, DKF shows returned to ul. in March 2024. Boh. Monte Cassino, a dozen or so meters opposite the first headquarters of DKF, i.e. the former Polonia Cinema, exactly on the anniversary of the founding of DKF.

The headquarters of the Boto Theater is located at Boh. Monte Cassino 54B, at the back of the Spatif club, next to the square with the Jaś Rybak fountain.
