Sopot to Be Featured on the German TV Programme “Wunderschön”
On 15th September, we welcomed representatives of the German public broadcaster Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR), based in Cologne, Germany, to Sopot.
Next year, Sopot will be featured in the programme “Wunderschön” on Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) in Cologne, Germany. It is a 90-minute travel programme dedicated to showcasing attractive tourist destinations, cities and regions.
The programme reaches more than one million viewers and is highly popular in the local market. Its editors select the most interesting places in a particular region to offer German viewers tried-and-tested ideas for holidays and city breaks.
The programme’s presenters meet local residents and experience first-hand everything that is attractive, unique and intriguing about each destination. In Sopot, the journalists visited the legendary Grand Hotel, with its rich history and nearly 100 years of tradition. They were given a tour of the property and also filmed the hotel’s beautiful interiors, as well as the stunning views from the rooms overlooking the beach and the sea.
