The 19th LOTTO Summer Cinema Festival: Sopot–Zakopane
The 19th edition of the LOTTO Summer Cinema Festival: Sopot–Zakopane kicks off on 1 July. As Poland’s longest-running summer film festival, it invites audiences to enjoy open-air cinema throughout the holiday season. All summer long, film lovers are welcome to join us in Sopot for unforgettable movie screenings under the stars.
The festival’s opening screening will take place in Sopot on 1 July. To mark both the festival’s inauguration and the Year of Andrzej Wajda celebrations in Zakopane, audiences will have the opportunity to watch Pan Tadeusz, one of the acclaimed director’s most renowned film adaptations, presented from a digitally restored print.
The screening begins at 10:00 p.m.
Admission to the screening is free. The only requirement is a valid ticket to the Sopot Pier.

About the Festival
The LOTTO Summer Cinema Festival: Sopot–Zakopane is one of the most recognisable film events of the Polish summer. This year's edition will feature more than 150 free film screenings throughout July and August. As every year, daily open-air screenings will take place in Sopot and Zakopane. On selected Mondays and Tuesdays, the festival will also visit Giżycko, home to Europe's only yacht cinema. On selected Wednesdays and Thursdays, Warsaw's Służewiec Horse Racing Track will host drive-in cinema screenings. Admission to all festival screenings is free.

- Tuesdays – Blockbusters – including The Beekeeper starring Jason Statham, Elvis with Austin Butler and Tom Hanks, and La femme de ménage (The Housemaid) starring Amanda Seyfried
- Wednesdays – Made in Poland by LOTTO – a curated selection of outstanding Polish productions, including The Butler, Traffic Department and Dalej jazda! 2
- KULT Thursdays with LOTTO – timeless classics and films that have earned a permanent place in pop culture, including Casablanca, La La Land and Notting Hill
- Oscar Fridays – award-winning international productions, including Tenet, Sinners and Sentimental Value
- Saturdays – Action Time! – including Weekend in Taipei, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and The Wolf of Wall Street
- Sports Sundays – including Marty Supreme, King Richard and The Champion
