Midsummer Night at Goyki 3
The upcoming shortest night of the year is an opportunity to experience art beyond the traditional gallery setting, spreading throughout the entire building and its surroundings. The rich and diverse programme includes a guided tour of the exhibition Atlas of Mythology, a dance performance titled Sanctuary of Pleasure, a special girls-only silent disco, and a multimedia projection mapping display presented directly on the façade of the Goyki 3 Art Incubator.
PROGRAM
7:00 PM – Curator’s Guided Tour
The exhibition Atlas of Mythology will be presented by its curator, Kasia Sobczak.
8:00 PM – Sanctuary of Pleasure
A dance performance by Anna Zglenicka and Magdalena Kowala (Hertz Haus), created as part of the Creative Work Support Programme.
8:00 PM–12:00 AM – Silent Disco
Three independent music channels will be available throughout the evening.
Abuelita
Abuelita’s musical library encompasses a wide range of seemingly distant genres, which she combines through various experiments—often surprising even herself with the results. She spent countless hours immersed in Łódź’s jungle and techstep underground scene, where she discovered that what she loves most in music is a solid breakbeat. Along the way, she was introduced to cumbia, gradually exploring its many variations and fusions.Today, she performs warm, caliente sounds with Laboratorio Tropical and Cumbia Warszawa, while her passion for broken beats finds expression through Girl, Gimme a Break!, a series she co-creates with wauneu. For this Silent Disco set, she will focus on caliente rhythms.
Rita Aniołowska
Rita Aniołowska is a DJ and music selector active on Poland’s club and festival circuit, regularly appearing in the line-ups of major music events. Festival audiences may know her from her Silent Disco performances at the Open’er Festival in Gdynia and the Orange Warsaw Festival. She also performs regularly at clubs and festivals throughout Poland. Her sets blend electronic music, house, and club sounds, always driven by an energy that naturally moves the dance floor without the need for explanation.Beyond DJing, Rita is actively involved in shaping Sopot’s club scene from an organisational perspective. She is a co-founder of Mewa Towarzyska, a venue that has become one of the key destinations on the Tricity nightlife map.
Aksamit
The name Aksamit, derived from the Greek word heksámitos meaning “woven from six threads,” perfectly reflects an artist whose work is defined by texture, movement, and a resistance to the obvious. She is the founder and curator of Velvet Vortex and co-creator of projects focused on knowledge exchange, community building, high-quality sound, conscious listening, and mindfulness. Her musical world gravitates toward deep, hypnotic sounds, yet never in a static way. It evolves with mood, place, and intuition. Over the years, she has refined her artistic approach through continuous technical development, thoughtful music selection, and close attention to detail. This dedication has led to performances in clubs, festivals, and cultural venues around the world.Whether performing in intimate listening environments or on larger stages, she is appreciated for creating immersive musical journeys that combine precision, depth, and a strong emotional connection with the audience.
10:30 PM – Ghosts of Goyki
A multimedia installation by Michał Grubman, projected onto the façade of the building.
