Sopot Christmas Market
Kuracyjny Square will soon turn into a place full of Christmas magic. On Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 4 p.m., we invite you to the grand opening of the Sopot Christmas and New Year Town. There will be plenty of attractions waiting for visitors, not only on this day - a food zone full of Christmas delicacies, stands with handicrafts and jewelry, numerous artistic events for children and adults, as well as a carousel and an ice rink. The town will be open until January 6.
The official opening of the Sopot Christmas and New Year Town will be preceded by joint decorating of Christmas trees in the southern arcades of the pier. The decorations will be prepared by local institutions, schools, kindergartens, organizations and associations actively participating in the city's life on a daily basis. The ceremonial lighting of the lights on the decorated trees is scheduled for Friday, December 19, at 2 p.m. On the same day, lovers of outdoor activities will be able to try their hand at the "Reindeer Run" with festive obstacles and tasks for the whole family. The run will start at noon from Kuracyjny Square.
Attractions at the opening
On Saturday, December 20 from At 1:30 p.m., the bandshell on the pier will resound with Christmas carols and songs. At 4 p.m., Mayor Magdalena Czarzyńska-Jachim will meet with residents and guests at the ceremonial opening of the Sopot Christmas and New Year Town. There will be sweet refreshments, followed by a musical performance "Happy birthday, hundred years of Polish song!", a laser show on the pier and a meeting with Mariusz Czerkawski, one of the greatest Polish hockey players in history, who will be a special guest at the ice rink.

In the coming days, visitors to the Town will be treated to many attractive events. At concerts in the shell on the pier we will see, among others: Agnieszka Babicz-Stasierowska, Joanna Knitter with her band, Kacper Kuszewski and Magdalena Smalara, as well as the Grace Gospel Choir. The program also includes theater performances, animations and performances for children, circus shows, a virtual journey with Santa Claus and much more. There will also be a food court, as well as an ice rink and a carousel open every day.

Family New Year's Eve
New Year's Eve afternoon at Kuracyjny Square will be spent in a family atmosphere. At 1:00 p.m., the Fourth City Theater will show a performance for children entitled "Kajtuś the Wizard", at 2 p.m. we will listen to a concert of songs from the fairy-tale world of Disney films, and from 3 p.m. "New Year's Eve Vertigo" - fun for the whole family. DJs will provide music from 5 p.m. to midnight.
