Sofitel Grand Sopot is entering a new stage of development under the management of Accor and its owner, Sinfam Investments. Tomasz Schweda, former general director of Mercure and TribeKraków Old Town, is the new general director of Sofitel Grand Sopot.
Tomasz Schweda's nomination coincides with preparations for the hotel's centenary in 2027. Sinfam Investments announces the modernization of the facility, the aim of which will be to emphasize its historical character, while enriching the offer in line with modern luxury trends. Tomasz Schweda is one of the most valued representatives of the young generation of hotel leaders in Poland. He won the title of "Hotelier of the Year" twice and received the global "Hospitality Awards 2024". As a multi-site general manager at Accor, he was responsible for flagship hotels in Krakow, achieving outstanding business and quality results. He has several years of experience working for international hotel brands, including boutique luxury facilities.
