Press trip of journalists and influencers from Scandinavian countries in Sopot
In January, the Sopot Tourist Organization, in cooperation with the Foreign Center of the Polish Tourist Organization in Stockholm, the Polish Tourist Organization and the marketing agency from Stockholm - Joyvoy studio, organized two press trips: the first for journalists from Scandinavia, the second for Swedish influencers promoting lifestyle, cuisine, and places off the beaten track. Press trips are one of the elements of the campaign promoting the resort in the off-season. The aim of the visit is to promote Sopot as a place worth visiting not only in summer, but also in the lower tourist season - in winter.
On January 13-16, 2026, Sopot was visited by journalists and travel bloggers from Scandinavia: Sara Grant (Aller Media), Brian Dreyer (Jysk Frynske Medier), Helena Bergström and Peter Bergström (Freedom Travel).

During their stay in Sopot, journalists discovered the charms of the resort in the off-season. They got to know Sopot from the culinary side, visiting, among others: restaurants recommended in the Michelin 2025 guide: L'Entre Villes and Petit Paris, an atmospheric restaurant located on the M15 beach next to unique saunas with a view of the sea, a restaurant with a unique sailing atmosphere Do Brzegu, where you can taste wonderful dishes of Polish cuisine and more, a unique gin distillery 3 City Distillery, as well as the Grand Blue restaurant in the legendary hotel Grand.
With guides: Eliza Wasiewiecz and Łukasz Zemła from Poland by Locals, they discovered Sopot in winter. They learned about the history of the resort, discovered the spa nature of the city, visited the city's greatest tourist attractions (including the pier, lighthouse, Monte Cassino, Crooked House, Tricity Landscape Park, the most beautiful viewpoints), learned more about the history of the Forest Opera and the Grand Hotel, and also visited the State Art Gallery in Sopot.
There were also unique experiences, such as relaxing in the spa at the Haffner Hotel, swimming and saunaing in the saunas on the M15 beach, as well as discovering the winter charm of the resort (ski station at Łysa Góra, ice rink at the pier).
The effects of the press trip can already be seen in journalists' reports on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/freedomtravel.se/, https://www.instagram.com/travelooneywriter/ and articles in the Scandinavian media, which will be published soon.
On January 21-24, 2026, Sopot was visited by famous and popular Swedish influencers promoting lifestyle, cuisine, as well as unique tourist destinations:
Sofia Henriksson (https://www.instagram.com/sofianhenriksson/),
Agnes Ros (https://www.instagram.com/swedishfoodstories/),
Olivia Lodenius (https://www.instagram.com/olivialodenius/) and
Josefine Olsson (https://www.instagram.com/josefines/).
During their stay in Sopot, the influencers discovered the wonderful culinary side of the city, visiting, among others: Mamma Mia cafe, Meduza restaurant, Wieloryb, L'Entre Villes, Treinta y Tres, Polskie Smaki. They became acquainted with the rich spa offer in Sopot, visiting, among others: Sea Soul Spa at the Sheraton hotel in Sopot, Thera Wellness at the Radisson Blu hotel in Sopot and the Limitless by Autopay saunas beautifully located right by the sea. They discovered the charms of the resort in winter: they admired the sunrise on the beach, walked the Seaside and Forest Spa Trail, visited the Forest Opera, and visited the Oliva Star spaces.

During their stay in Sopot, the influencers created relationships and promoted the places they visited. The aim of their stay was to promote the city in the off-season and encourage people from Scandinavia to visit the city in winter - when it is calmer, quieter and you can fully relax by walking by the sea, taking advantage of the spa offer, or tasting delicious dishes in Sopot restaurants.
We would like to thank all partners and members of the Sopot Tourism Organization for their cooperation.
