Sopot took 3rd place in the "City by the Sea" category in the nationwide Winter Stars Travelist 2026 plebiscite

Voting has concluded for the third edition of the popular winter poll organized by Travelist Magazine. Sopot took third place in the "Seaside Town" category in the nationwide Travelist Winter Stars 2026 poll. It garnered the praise of numerous internet users across Poland and was hailed as one of the biggest Baltic stars of the winter season. This major success is the result of both the high-quality tourist offer and the exceptional guest experience.

"Travelist Winter Stars" is one of the most recognizable rankings in Poland dedicated to domestic winter tourism. Thousands of internet users voted in five categories, choosing from 50 destinations and entities nominated by the Travelist Magazine editorial team.

Zieleniec Sport Arena was named the best ski resort, receiving 16.50 percent of the votes. Next in line were Szczyrk Mountain Resort (14.05 percent) and PKL Jaworzyna Krynicka (13.37 percent). Among thermal baths and water parks, Aquapark Fala in Łódź stood out, receiving 19.09 percent of the votes. Termy Chochołowskie came in second (14.26 percent), and Termy BUKOVINA came in third (13.29 percent).

In the "Attraction of the Season" category, the Orientarium at the Łódź Zoo won by a wide margin, garnering 26.24 percent of the votes. Sankolandia in Muszyna came in second with 10.20 percent of the votes. Kolejkowo came in third with 10.02 percent of the votes.

"The third edition of Travelist's "Winter Stars" showed that Poles have their proven winter favorites, who also topped the list last year. Kołobrzeg and Gdańsk once again made it into the TOP 3 by the sea, Zakopane and Karpacz have been leaders in the mountains for years, and among ski resorts and winter attractions, there remain strong brands that consistently build their position and expand their offerings. This is a clear signal to the tourism industry that quality, diversity, and year-round attractiveness are of paramount importance," says Marek Świrkowicz, editor-in-chief of Travelist Magazine.

The third edition of the "Travelist Winter Stars" poll was held under the patronage of the Polish Tourist Organization, emphasizing its importance in promoting Polish regions and attractions. "The Travelist Magazine ranking showcases Poland's unique winter tourist attractions, inspiring travel outside the summer season. This encourages further initiatives promoting our country as an excellent tourist destination," emphasizes Magdalena Krucz, President of the Polish Tourist Organization.
