They will run in Sopot to pay tribute to "Inka". On March 1, a unique run over two distances (2,026 meters and 5 kilometers) will take place in Sopot - without time measurement, but with a message commemorating the heroic Home Army nurse, Danuta Siedzikówna. The event is part of the annual celebration of the National Day of Remembrance of the "Cursed Soldiers".

Sopot runners started the year very actively. An extensive #RUNinSOPOT series was launched, and the first part - a winter beach run on January 17 - was attended by about a hundred participants despite demanding conditions. A week later, sports emotions were combined with charity, supporting the 34th Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. Now running enthusiasts face another challenge - a start dedicated to the memory of "Inka". Sopot Run. "Inki" is scheduled for March 1, 2026.

Participants will run a distance of 2,026 meters or 5 kilometers. The start and finish will be located on Łysa Góra. The number of places is limited - a maximum of 200 people can take part in the race.

Sopot Run "Inka"

Sopot Run. Inki is organized by MOSiR in Sopot under the patronage of the Mayor of Sopot. It is part of the annual celebration of the National Day of Remembrance of the "Cursed Soldiers". A commemorative medal is provided for each participating person. An additional accent accompanying the event is the joint singing of soldiers' songs and refreshments for the starters served from the field kitchen.

The patriotic aspect of the run is emphasized by the ceremonial march of participants and invited guests, assisted by standard bearers, to the monument of Home Army Soldiers and the "Inka" monument, where wreaths will be laid.
