Pier and marina

The Sopot Pier is the longest wooden pier in Europe (511.5 meters). Built in the 1820s, it's a landmark of Sopot. It's a place for recreational and health-giving walks. At the end of the pier is a marina with capacity for 103 vessels. In winter, an ice rink is open in the Kuracyjny Square in front of the pier.

Monte Cassino Street

Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street is most famous promenade in Poland, leading directly to the pier.
In the 17th century, a road ran through this area, connecting the agricultural part of Sopot (Upper Sopot) with the fishing settlement on the coast (Lower Sopot).
In 1963, "Monciak" was closed to traffic and remains a favorite meeting place for residents and visitors.

Lighthouse

The lighthouse is an integral part of the Sopot landscape.
At it's peak is an attractive viewpoint open year-round. The tower is 30 meters high, and to reach it, you have to climb 136 steps.
However, the unforgettable view of the Bay of Gdańsk and the beautiful panorama of the Tricity is worth it!

Spa House

The first Spa House was built in 1824. It served as the focal point of the young resort's social life. Ballrooms and restaurants were connected to the hotel and casino. During the war in 1945, the Spa House was almost completely destroyed. The current building opened in 2009. You can find here: the State Art Gallery, Tourist Information Point, the Brine Water Pump Room, restaurants, and cafés.

Grand Hotel

The Grand Hotel is one of the most distinctive and recognizable building in Sopot. Located right on the beach, close to the city center and the entrance to the pier. Over its nearly century-long history, it has hosted numerous distinguished guests and continues to impress with its unique style and elegance. Currently, it operates under the name Sofitel Grand Sopot.

Forest Opera

Forest Opera is the symbol of Sopot, one of the most unique scenes in Europe - forest amfitheater with exellent acoustic and over 100 years of history.
In front of an audience of 5,000 listeners, performs stars like: James Brown, Whitney Houston, Annie Lennox, sir Elton John, Lionel Richie, Bryan Adams or Sting.
The Opera has hosted many artistic events, such as International Song Festivals, Wagner festivals, concerts of world music stars, shows, ballet and theatre performances.

Hippodrome

The Sopot Hippodrome is a venue for international competitions and a recreational center for residents and visitors. It's excellent track and picturesque location - near forested moraine hills and the Bay of Gdańsk - place it among the leading sports facilities of it's kind. The Sopot Hippodrome hosts the CSIO**** International Official Show Jumping Competition, races, and numerous other events, not just equestrian.

Sopot Museum

The Sopot Museum is housed in the historic Claaszen Villa, dating back to 1904.
The stately ground-floor rooms, along with their original furnishings, have been recreated based on archival photographs from the early 20th century. Currently, they are open to the public as a permanent exhibition of historic, bourgeois interiors. The upper floor houses temporary exhibition rooms. Each year, the exhibitions focus on various themes related to the history of Sopot and its inhabitants.

Fishing harbour

In the charming Fisherman's Harbor, in addition to stalls selling fresh and smoked fish, you'll also find a fishing museum. The fishing boats on the beach are one of the most photographed sights in Sopot. Also worth visiting is the nearby Fishermen's Square, where, in 1914, due to the growing number of visitors, the fishing settlement was relocated from the area surrounding the present-day pier.

Stronghold Musuem

We would like to invite you to Sopot, a resort town bordering Gdansk. Grodzisko, which in Polish denotes remnants of an ancient fortified settlement, is located in picturesque surroundings The open-air museum displays various buildings and structures of the settlement, including huts, a gate and part of the palisade surrounding the settlement. Sierakowski Manor House

The Sierakowski Manor is one of the oldest buildings in Sopot. Legend has it that the manor housed a young Fryderyk Chopin, who came to Sopot for his vacation. Currently, it houses the Society of Friends of Sopot. It offers numerous cultural, educational, and artistic events to Sopot residents and visitors. Inside the historic building, there's a cozy, artistic café with a unique atmosphere.

Crooked House

The Crooked House is one of the most interesting examples of bold contemporary architecture. The building, inspired by the drawings of Jan Marcin Szancer and Per Dahlberg, a Swedish illustrator who has lived in Sopot for years, has become almost a symbol of the city. Since it's construction in 2004, it has been one of the most photographed landmarks in the resort. In 2025, a Food Hall was opened in the Crooked House, where you can sample dishes from around the world.

Goyki 3 Art Inkubator

Goyki 3 Art Inkubator is a thriving cultural institution housed in the restored, beautiful historic villa of Fryderyk Wilhelm Jüncke, dating from 1894, located at 3 Jakuba Goyki Street. The Art Inkubator's mission is to promote culture, foster cultural education, and support creative communities. The institution organizes events such as the Sopot Literary Festival, debates, meetings, workshops, and walks for children. The villa can also be visited upon prior reservation at www.goyki3.pl.

Łysa Góra hill

Łysa Góra is the highest peak in Sopot (110 meters above sea level) and boasts a nearly 300-meter T-bar lift on the edge of the Tricity Landscape Park. When the weather is nice and there's snow, guests can enjoy two ski trails, a toboggan run, a dedicated ski school area, professional instructors, and a well-stocked equipment rental and service center. A snow park is available for snowboarding enthusiasts.
